Default Hello from the White Mtns. of N.H.

I just purchased a S-14 with an HKS engine and am looking forward to bringing it to my home airport (IZG). This is my first Rans product and I was lucky to find this great site. Thanks to everyone involved for all the good advice and looking forward to a great adventure.

    @ Seahorse:

    Welcome !

Tell us more about the HKS Engine !! It's also the preferred 4 cycle power plant for the Merlin PSA single seat aircraft.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have no personal experience with the HKS engine. My neighbor had an HKS on his FlightStar II and flew it for approx. ten years with no issues. That plane is now owned by someone else and flown regularly. Looking forward to flying the S-14 this summer. I did see the Merlin at Sun-N-Fun and was impressed with it's rugged construction.
