There's a lot of work to do yet before I install an engine! The Rans S-6 is designed to use the 80hp Rotax 912 or the 100hp Rotax 912S.

I will install the larger 100hp version. Although these engines are very expensive, they are also very efficient with a fuel burn of about 5 gallons per hour (gph). Compared to other engines of similar horsepower, they are fairly light at around 130 lbs.
