AveoEngineering™
has developed a powerful package of LED lighting systems for small
aircraft that feature easy installation, low power draw, and high
candela output. These affordable, reliable, and lightweight lighting
packages provide the ultimate in safety features for today's light

AveoFlash™ lights exceed the standards for both
JARS (European) and FAA requirements and are actually designed to the
higher Military Specifications. (AveoFlash™ lights
are currently be installed in a number of countries' U.A.V. aircraft)
Each light weighs only 1.85 to 8 ounces (a huge weight-savings over
other nav/strobe manufacturer's lights).
AveoFlash™ lights come encased in a clear
epoxy-resin that is basically indestructible, and are water and vapor
tight.
The AveoFlash™ lights use High Candela rated Light
Emitting Diodes (250 at 1 amp peak for both wingtip lights and 450 [at 1
amp peak for 1 light] for the Tail or Anti-Collision Beacons). So they
are brighter than comparable nav/strobe lights from any other
manufacturer. This is at 14VDC. Lumen/watt output equals 3,125 for the
wingtips each and 5,625 for the Tail or Anti-Collision Beacons. With
the lower power draw, the builder can now run just 18 AWG, stranded,
jacketed, unshielded wire to each light.
AveoFlash™ lights are fully self-contained - they
are built with a patented FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD,
and they require no Flash
Module, so you save that weight and also
reduce the RF noise to Zero
(a common problem with ordinary Nav/Strobe lights from other
manufacturers).
