If you've just tuned into my builder's log, it might look like you went backwards in my log to a page before the fuselage was covered and painted. Nope. You're in the correct spot. After paint the fuselage white I wasn't happy with the results so I ripped the fabric off and had the steel fuselage sandblasted. You can read the story here. The fuselage was gone for a few days so that was a good time for me to clean out the paint booth again. Michigan Sandblasters delivered my fuselage this morning and I spent all day cleaning it. What a mess! I had to clean dust off of every single tube.
With all the prep work done, I mixed some Superflite two-part epoxy primer and sprayed the first coat. I tried to get every joint before I sprayed any tubes. It's a tedious job.

There's still some tubes that I didn't even spray with this coat since I ran out of paint. I didn't want to mix more tonight so I will get those tubes with the second coat I'm going to spray tomorrow. This first coat was just a light base coat.

I bought some chain and a few bolts and hung the fuse from the ceiling. Then I literally laid on the floor and sprayed all the joints from the bottom, then worked my way around and to the top.
