I used a 3" wide piece of bias tape for the bottom curve. It came out nice but does require a lot of work with the iron while gluing to get it smooth. You can do it!

I think I did a pretty good
job with the curves. You will need to cut a 50" x 5" piece out of the
covering roll for the trailing edge of the rudder. Be sure to put some
really thin glue on the edge and cut the edges with pinking sheers. I used a 3" wide piece of bias tape for the bottom curve. It came out nice but does require a lot of work with the iron while gluing to get it smooth. You can do it! |
