Started covering the bottom of the left wing.
Obviously the wing is upside down here.
The key is to iron as you go-just like when I covered the top of the wing. If you do this, you will get a perfect, wrinkle free finish.
Even the area around the plastic bump on the leading edge went on really well. Just takes a little finesse with a hobby iron.
Here is the bottom covered and shrunk.
Double sided tape holds a clear plastic strip on each rib. The fabric is riveted to the wing and the plastic keep the rivets from tearing through the fabric.
Here are all the rivets installed. Before I flip the wing over and rivet the top of the ribs, I will install all the access rings on the bottom.
