| I've been in the garage almost all day. I started putting the interior pieces in because I need to see how I'm going to run various hoses and wires. | |

Take this front side piece
for example-by installing it now I see that I will have to notch out a
hole in the front bottom for the brake line to pass though on it's way
to the wheel. I also planned on running the fuel line up to the top and though the pre-drilled .75" hole drilled in the firewall. But by installing these side pieces, I can see that I can not do that. The side plastic interior sit right up next to the frame and there is no space between. So now I will have to make another hole and run the fuel line though the firewall at the very bottom. I'm not sure why Rans drills those big holes in the firewall-they are useless. |

On this side I wanted to
run the heavy battery cable up and out the pre-drilled hole in the
firewall. But again I can't do that because nothing can pass between the
plastic interior and the frame. Again, I will drill another hole lower
on the firewall. Although it's not shown in this picture, I drilled the bottom hole and installed (temporarily) the lower instrument panel. That was another reason to install the center interior piece as some of it will get trimmed to fit around the lower panel. |

A lot of things pass through the bottom of this piece. I need to see where to notch out for the elevator trim cable and also the battery cables. |
