Wow I got a lot done today! It really doesn't look like it though from the pics. But I got all the inside gussets riveted on which took HOURS to do! AND, I am using a hand squeezer riveter too! My hands are killing me right now!
Here I am starting with the inside gussets and this one is clecoed on.
Squaring up the fuselage is a combination of ancient Roman measuring and eyeballing! I had strings and levels everywhere on this thing making sure it was all square.
Here I am installing the bulkhead as the instructions say. DON'T RIVET IT YET! Make sure you have the inside gussets all riveted together before you rivet this bulkhead!
Here's more of my alignment job. I stapled a string to the wall, and ran it all the way to the front of the fuselage and made sure it passed the center of everything.
Here's another shot of the strings. One is on top and the one that is stapled to the wall is on the bottom. It looks like the bottom string stops at the carpet but it goes all the way to the center of the front of the fuselage.
