I'm still waiting to get out to the Guard to have the landing gear legs drilled. In the mean time, I am working on the vertical stab. I don't want to build it onto the airplane yet because I will still need to flip the fuselage upside down to work on the gear and bottom stringers. I just installed the 6" doubler and riveted on the nutplates.

These are pieces to the tailwheel assembly. Being the perfectionist that I
am, I can not leave them bare aluminum. So I primed and painted them black.
Looks much better right? I used this Dupli-Color primer and paint on my S-10 tailwheel pieces and it is a very tough and very fast drying paint. It's available at Advance Auto Parts...or at least that's where I bought it.
