More work on the tailcone today. I'm mostly working on the tailwheel mounting plate.
I drilled four 1/4" holes through the bottom stringers and riveted on these four nutplates. These are for the tailwheel.
Here you can see the beefy mounting plate for the tailwheel. There was a LOT of work to get it to this point, although it doesn't really look like it from the pic.
