This S-6S looks really cool with these Sam James wheel pants! These should add about 50 knots to my cruising speed.

I sanded the aft edge of the front half of the wheel pant smooth and then clecoed them together. |

The wheel opening is cut
out but not final trimmed yet. The next step is to make an aluminum
mount for the wheel pants and once they are mounted, I will final trim
the wheel opening and any other openings for the axle and brakes.
