So I added this aluminum angle support.
The panel is very strong now. When I pull the choke (which is very difficult to pull) it does not bend the panel at all.

I've been noticing that my
instrument panel is rather flimsy. When I would push or pull the
throttle or the choke cable on the lower sub-panel, the entire
instrument panel would bend in or out because there was no support other
than the left and right side. So I added this aluminum angle support. |

This plate is just a mount for the 12V plug for the GPS but it made a handy place to mount this end of the support. |
