I got the idea from Scott VanArtdalen to replace the stock elevator trim cable. The one supplied by RANS is a poor quality cable that is extremely tough to move. This new cable is available from Aircraft Spruce and the part number is 05-15500. This cable is only slightly heavier than the stock cable but it is very smooth and easy to move.
I took all these photos with the fuselage upside down so you are looking up from the bottom.

I have the trim cable (silver) mounted along side the antenna cable (black).

There was a little bit of slack along this tube so I mounted a stand off with a nylon clamp.

Here the cable runs along the bottom of the fuselage and is secured with a zip tie and piece of fuel tubing.
