PROGRESS! The building phase has begun! Today was all about building the rear aluminum tailcone.

| First I made this frame from 2x4's so I could get the fuselage to a good working height. | Then I got ready by laying out all the top and bottom cross and diagonal pieces. |
| In this photo the top and bottom longerons are installed. | The manual states that clear silicone should be installed on the fuselage stubs to protect against corrosion. I smeared silicone on the stubs and pressed on the longeron. Be sure to clean up the drilled holes on the inside of the tubes first! |

| Wipe off the excess silicone. And put some masking tape on the fuselage first as this will make it easier to clean up. | ...and this is what it looks like when the excess is wiped away and the tape is pulled off. |

| Here the cross and diagonal tubes are clecoed in place. | Now I rivet all the brackets in place. |
