I have so much to do today before I leave for four days tomorrow morning but I skipped it all to work on the plane. This is a replacement fiberglass piece that cost me $335.oo to buy and have shipped to my house!

I cut and fit the original one without the firewall in place. Now with the firewall in place, it didn't fit. It was about 1/2" short on the bottom. I know there are ways to fiberglass an extension on, but I don't think I could do it and have it be as strong or straight. It was better for me to spend the money and buy a new piece.

This is my third attempt at making this fairing. Third time is a charm! This one came out really nice.
I cut it so I can fiberglass the two pieces to the wheel pants.
They are just sitting in place for the photo, but the next step is to fiberglass the fairings to the wheelpants and then blend them in.

These are going to be aerodynamic. I should get another 50 mph with these fairings!! haha
