I have so much to do today
before I leave for four days tomorrow morning but I skipped it all to
work on the plane. This is a replacement fiberglass piece that cost me
$335.oo to buy and have shipped to my house! I cut and fit the original one without the firewall in place. Now with the firewall in place, it didn't fit. It was about 1/2" short on the bottom. I know there are ways to fiberglass an extension on, but I don't think I could do it and have it be as strong or straight. It was better for me to spend the money and buy a new piece. |

This is my third attempt at making this fairing. Third time is a charm! This one came out really nice. |

I cut it so I can fiberglass the two pieces to the wheel pants. |

They are just sitting in place for the photo, but the next step is to fiberglass the fairings to the wheelpants and then blend them in. |
