| Started gluing the covering down today with great results! | |

I started with gluing about a 1" line down the length of the rear spar. |

Then I did the same thing for the front spar. |

After the trailing edge and leading edge spars were complete, I glued both tips. In this picture, the root end is shown cut but not yet glued. |

Next I flipped the wing over so I could
finish with the bottom of the spars. Here is the line of glue I spread
where the fabric will be cut. Notice how wrinkled the fabric is right now where it will get glued to the spar? |

Now look at this wrinkle free perfect
finish! How did I do it? I started at the wingtip and worked in about
one foot sections by first ironing the fabric smooth, then gluing it. I
am extremely happy with the results. Now...on to the rear spar! (after the Super Bowl!!) |
