I've been busy the last few days working on the plane but it doesn't seem like I've accomplished anything major. I'm just getting a bunch of little but important things done.
My Dynon EFIS has an altitude encoder built into it but since I am installing an old transponder, I have to use Dynon's encoder converter.

My transponder is 10 years old and at some point I may have to replace it. If (when) I buy a new one, I will not need this converter since the new transponders can plug right into the two wires coming out of the Dynon.

So I wanted to be able to remove this converter without chopping any wires. So I added a Molex connector to the red and black (pwr and gnd) wires and the green and black wires that go to the EFIS. The silver Sub D connector goes to the King transponder. If I ever get that new transponder, I can just unplug this module and remove it.

I had to run three more wires to the power bus. One for the transponder, one for the converter module, and another for my electric trim.
These are the APR1/8 and 1/4 rivets for the glareshield. I primed and painted them black.
