One more piece out of my house! I riveted this map pocket in place.
Made my battery cables and installed them.
Connected the fuel shut off valve.
I installed the interior (I think) for the last time.
Notice the huge hole cut around the fuel valve. The fuel valves that RANS supplies with the kit weight about thousand pounds. So to save a little weight, I bought the same type of small light weight shut off valve I had in my S-10. I cut the hole in the side piece to fit the other valve but started to notice how easily the selector moved. There is very little friction on the new valve and I was worried about accidentally shutting off the fuel. Who knows...maybe the headset cord would get caught on the valve and one turn of the head and I'm unknowingly shutting off fuel in flight!

So as you can see, I decided to install the super heavy stock fuel valve. This valve is actually very difficult to move, which is a good thing.

I will fabricate an aluminum triangle piece to fit over the hole. I'll paint it white and incorporate the ON and OFF labeling.

I couldn't resist setting a seat in to see how it looked...looks good, huh?
