These just get glued to the fabric and then a patch is glued around them.

With most of the small pieces done, that means it's time for the fuselage. I moved the fuse into the paint booth today. It's going to be a tough job to mask off the interior. |

Before I can prime the
fuselage, I need to glue on these rudder cable exits and also the ring
for the elevator pushrod exit. In this picture, you can see that I cut
the two rudder cable exits out and on one of them, I cut the opening for
the cable. These just get glued to the fabric and then a patch is glued around them. |
