odds-n-ends today...
Riveted on this lower aluminum piece on the forward side of the firewall. This piece helps with pulling air through the cowl for additional cooling.
Drilled a hole through the firewall for the battery cable. I also riveted the firewall to the frame.
Drilled another hole on the other side for the fuel hose.
Ran this brake line.
I drilled a hole in the plastic and inserted the brake line through it.
I ordered the $210.00 muffler heater option from RANS. This is the piece in the engine compartment that the hose will attach to coming from the muff around the muffler. The big hole is used to vent the hot air back into the engine compartment when the heat is turned 'off'.

There is another tube inside this tube that slides back and forth to block or unblock this hole.

On the inside of the cabin, you can see the inner tube half open.
Here the hole is wide open as if the heat was selected 'on'.
