I primed a bunch of the small pieces and they are ready for paint...
This is the small instrument panel. It already has one coat of white paint so this will be the final coat.
Here are the door frames and the two pieces that complete the top of the door. They too have been primed and are ready for their first coat of paint.
The door frames are mounted by these L brackets. You can't see from this picture, but there is a 6" piece of threaded rod going straight up from the L bracket into each frame. The door frame simply slips down over the threaded rod.
These two pieces are the root rib close-outs.
One thing I have learned is that there is a lot less chance of getting grit in the paint if the paint gun is held level while spraying. So I am trying to keep all my parts vertical.
I am able to keep this part mostly vertical by adding a small screw under the hinge. This just keeps the hinge from fully closing.
