I used my new pneumatic rivet puller today to pull the 3/16" steel rivets that hold the rear fuselage to the steel cage. Man that works nice! I tried the first rivet at 40 psi and it wasn't enough. Then I tried 60 psi and that wasn't enough either. So I let the pressure build to 100 psi and that worked great. Maybe 80 or so would work also.

Here's the puller I ordered from Northern Tool Supply. It works perfect for pulling rivets up to 3/16".

My buddy Nate let me use his Craftsman air compressor so I wouldn't have to go buy one just to pull 16 rivets. I may end up buying one eventually but it sure saved me the money for now.

Here it is...all done! I will now go back and add a little more silicone around the tube to prevent moisture from getting in.

This is it! It's all one piece now. On to the landing gear...
